The Great Indoors 2018 has been announced, and it’s going to be better and better than the previous two years, as in 2018 it’ll be a full weekend event!

Announcing The Great Indoors 2018
It’s time that we shared some exciting news with you. The Great Indoors 2018 will be held on Saturday 28th – Sunday 29th July at Parkside Suite in Bromsgrove. As you will no doubt be aware, this is the first time the event will run over two days. We are very keen to cater for increasing numbers of attendees and provide the best experience possible. To that end, we have received feedback suggesting there is demand for a whole weekend event; in addition it was always our aim eventually for The Great Indoors to be a weekend event. We feel that the time is right for this and hope that you’ll be able to join us for one or even both days. While pricing is not finalised at this point, having the venue for two days will enable us to offer weekend tickets at a reduced rate while not penalising those who wish to only attend for one day.
The structure of the event will be based upon the success of the past two years and include: lots of space for open gaming, a games library, demos and playtesting, retailers, charity auction and more. Food and drink will be available at the venue; there are also plenty of other options within a 5 minute walk.
There will be some parking at the venue; in addition there are also plenty of public car parks within a couple of minutes walking. Public transport is also a viable option with the railway station only 30 minutes by foot and regular bus services delivering passengers to the Strand Centre, a 1 minute walk away from Parkside Suite.
For those wishing to stay over there are Travelodge, Holiday Inn and Bromsgrove Hotel & Spa nearby; there are also several B&Bs. We are hoping to agree preferable rates for our attendees but realistically The Great Indoors is not a large event so don’t hold your breath.
